Updated Raccoon Latrine Removal Protocol
Hi everyone,
Well I have revised the Raccoon Latrine Removal Protocol document as it is heading to press in the 14th Wildlife Damage Management Conference.
I would appreciate your final reviews. Since I wasn't always careful to include all the reviewers in the acknowledgement section near the bottom of the doc, now is the time to do so or forever hold your peace and piece.
I need a FAST turnaround.
Please use track changes. Or print it out and fax it back.
Thanks everyone for your help.
Podcast Using Smart Phones For Your Pest Control & Wildlife Removal Business
These are a few apps that I use on my iPad day to day. Everything from scheduling to payments. This can save time and money. But the best part is, it looks pretty professional while showing off your work you have performed or just presenting a quote.

Listen to my podcast and learn how I use these smart phone apps and run my own pest control business including taking credit cards right from my phone.

WpN Podcast Proper Bird Control Exclusion & Bird Removal Techniques
Lenny Mongiello , Robb Russell and Reginald Murray got together on May 12, 2012 and had a one hour discussion on Proper Bird Control Exclusion & Bird Removal Techniques.
Lots of tips on how to sell a bird control job, when to sell and when to walk away. Lenny went into how to handle the customer on the phone and how to ask the right questions and prequalify your bird control customer.
Lenny and Reginald Murray pretty much made it clear if its not a pigeon, starling or sparrow you probably will need a permit from USFS to even harass , deter or repel any bird. Not all customers can even properply identify bird species either.
This is a good one hour chat that was more focus don helping a bird pest control professional then an infomercial for bird barrier.

Bee Guys
We had a swarm call last week, no big deal. As I pulled up the bees were buzzing around like normal, I ran down the street to get my bee suit, and when I got back the bees had literally attacked 3 baby squirrels. They covered them from the tip of their nose to their tail, you could not even see the small squirrels. Each squirrel had 50-100 stings, on their eyes, ears, nose, mouth, and body. I had to put the squirrels down and kill the swarm. I have dealt with bees for years, and had never seen this aggressive behavior in European Honey Bees. We are in Kansas City and have never had Africanized bees here, but a beekeeper friend of mine took some of the dead bees to the K-State Extension office, and they called KS dept. of Ag. to do a DNA test on them, and they seemed concerned also. For you southern guys what behavior differences do you notice? Sunflower Pest Solutions

crawled outa the wiring section and gotten tangled in the ceiling fan. I have
seen snakes in toilets, sink drains, and under tvs, but never come out of a ceiling

A Snake Fable?
Hi -
I used to hear that moth balls got rid of snakes. I think the object was to put them down their snake holes.
Is there any truth to this?
